The Menil Collection is a Museum and Neighborhood of art spanning on a 30 acres in the heart of Houston.

In May of 1914 Houston real estate investor and industrialist George H. Hermann announced publicly his intention of deeding to the City of Houston 285 acres of this property for a municipal park across the street from the Rice Institute and thus Hermann Park was born. A century later, Hermann Park is 445-acres of beautiful green space and is visited by an estimated 6 million people per year.

TERRY HERSHEY PARK

Is one of the largest park in Houston. Terry Hershey park located in energy corridor. Terry Hershey Park is a county park that runs parallel to a roughly 6-mile (9.7 km) stretch of the Buffalo Bayou in western Houston, Texas. The park is named after Terry Hershey, a conservationist who campaigned to keep the banks of Buffalo Bayou from being paved.[3][4] The park hosts a network of trails that run along the bayou from State Highway 6 to the Sam Houston Tollway and is a popular destination for local residents, runners, bicyclists and Geocachers.

SUNFLOWERS FIELD

Recent year, it is a popular trend for Houstonians to travel to Sunflower Field to have their photos taken. It is located roughly an hour from Houston, TX. But it is definitely a must to check out! Keep in mind, it is only lasted from Jun to mid July every year, so plan your trip and ready to take amazing images at the Sunflower Field!
